What’s A Nutritarian?
The term “Nutritarian” came from Dr. Joel Fuhrman, M.D. who is a board-certified family physician, New York Times best-selling author and nutritional researcher who specializes in preventing and reversing disease through nutritional and natural methods.
He coined the term “Nutritarian” to describe a diet that is nutrient-dense and plant-rich, and includes anti-cancer superfoods, which also facilitate weight loss. Food has powerful disease–protecting and therapeutic effects.
