When you hear the word salad, do think boring?
Yes, some salads can be boring especially if you only use lettuce and tomato! C’mon! You gotta be creative.
Salads are fiber rich, have staying power and they are good for your brain! Eating a “daily” salad may keep memory loss at bay!
We eat large salads every night, and sometimes we switch it up and change the ingredients, which is easy to do.

As you can see, I made 4 salads in advance so I can eat one per night. They are part of my healthy eating routine. They are not only healthy, they taste great!
Some of us feel like there’s not enough time in the day for work, families, and household chores.
Making salads in advance frees up time to go do other important things, like spending time with the family!

Healthy Nutritious Dinner Salad
About 5 Minutes
- 1 Beet
- 1 Zucchini
- 1 Head of Romaine Lettuce
- 2 Tomatoes
- 8 Tbsp Cooked Quinoa
- 1/2 Cup of Slivered Almonds
- 1 Whole Avocado
- Use the Spiral Slicer to slice up the beet and zucchini
- Assemble the first 4 ingredients into a large bowl and toss
- Place into 4 containers and add the last 5 ingredients
- Put the lids on and refrigerate
