I was in debilitating pain for almost 2 years, but my terrific Physical Therapist taught me exercises that helped my back, hip, and IT band issues.
Doing the difficult rehab work is when the healing began.
Thanks to many hours, days, weeks, months in the PT office and at home, I’m happy to say that I’m fully healed now!
Ever since then, I’ve continued the core and balance exercises to keep myself injury free!
It’s important to stay active and keep your body moving, to prevent future injuries!
You’ll live longer!
Even if you work 80 hours a week and have a huge family to take care of, there is always a way to squeeze some exercise, even if it’s only for 10 minutes per day.
I never realized how important walking and core strengthening were, until I suffered with a series of injuries that lasted almost 2 years.
At times I lost hope that I would ever be able to walk down the street again, but I was determined to fix this and never gave up!
Core workouts and balance exercises are not easy and they must be done over and over again to get expected results.
Walking on the treadmill and riding the spinning bike are great for your body too.

Thank goodness I did everything the PT instructed me to do, or I would not be pain free today.
My husband is very happy and has to now keep up with me in stores!
My advice to you, if you are not injured and have the ability to exercise or walk, do it!
