Like the Boy Scouts say, “Be Prepared”!
Whether home or away from home, it’s important to always have nutritious snacks on hand.
We all have experienced that time in the afternoon when we want a snack, even if we are not hungry. At times we just grab something because it’s convenient and many times, it’s NOT healthy.
It’s so easy to prepare healthy snacks. Just put them in a container and take them with you to work, or on the road.
These healthy snacks are my favorites and easy to make:
- Banana and Almond Butter
- Apple and Almond Butter
- Celery and Peanut Butter
- Apple all by itself
- Handful of Pistachios
- Chia Pudding
- Nutrient Rich Green Drink
- Handful of Almonds mixed with Raisins
- Veggies and Hummus
Besides healthy snacks, I also carry water, and sometimes a salad. Healthy snacks are a huge part of a healthy diet.
