Sometimes we get busy and think we have no time for exercise! Guess what? We need to make time, even if it’s 10 minutes per day.
It doesn’t take a ton of time, it just takes commitment! If you are not exercising right now, there’s no time like the present!
Take it slowly.
Maybe start with 5 minutes at the same time every day, and build your time up weekly by increasing the time maybe to 10 minutes. Keep doing this until you develop a routine.
I have a good home workout routine that I do several times a week. I used to go to the gym, but I really like working out at home better!
Having my own fitness equipment allows me to not only strength training exercises at home, but cardio workouts too! If I’m not doing a treadmill workout, I’m on the spinning bike, elliptical trainer or rower.
On vacation, I carry resistance bands with me. You gotta do what you gotta do, right?
Health and fitness are extremely important!
If you are a couch potato, you need to get up off the couch right now and get moving!
If you do not own your own fitness equipment…no problem!! Here are some ideas to get moving:
- Walk the dog or by yourself
- Ride a bike
- Walk up and down the stairs
- Go for a run
- Go to the gym
- Use resistance bands
- Borrow a free exercise DVD from the library
- Don’t forget to activate your core
